Aperol Spritz
A cocktail made with love and style that will create a little bitterness for your evening, Aperol Spritz became popular in the 1950s, inspired by the Venetian mix of white wine and soda. The drink incorporates the Italian aperitif Aperol, which originated in Padua in 1919. A “ready to drink” version of the Aperol Spritz was launched by Gruppo Campari in 2011, which contains only 8% alcohol. The intention was to give customers a greater chance to enjoy the drink at home with minimal effort, add ice cream, and some orange.
Instructions
- Fill a low glass with ice cubes.
- Add Aperol first and then prosecco.
- Finish by pouring water in and top it off with a piece of orange.
