About drinks with gin
Original dry gin uses eight herbs to achieve a unique, juniper-laden taste. In gin, neutral grain alcohol is distilled with natural aromas such as cinnamon, orange peel, licorice, and juniper berries. All good gins should taste balanced but can vary in taste ranging from citrus and spicy to soft and floral.

Gin
Gin is a spirit primarily known as a product from England. However, gin is produced in most of the world now. Gin is traditionally used in aperitiv drinks such as gin and tonic, dry martini, and Tom Collins.
The word Gin comes from the Dutch name genever, which originates from the French word for juniper geniévre, which comes from the Latin word Juniperus.
Gin is also used in the popular drink Gin & Tonic, invented by British soldiers stationed in India. The British soldiers drank tonic water, which, due to the high quinine content, was a preventive measure against malaria. The soldiers later added Gin and lime due to the bitter taste of the tonic water. This brought to life probably one of the world’s most popular drinks.
